Dear Reader,
The weather has been decidedly fall-like here in southeast Virginia. A little gray, a little rain and a lot of wind. It made me think about those comfort foods we all love and one of my favorites is truffle mac and cheese. You know the kind baked with bread crumbs sprinkled on top. Oh that is one of my favorite things. A close second is grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches. I was thinking about this as I was working on Arresting Love, a Gates Point novel and wondering what the main characters Blue and Eryn would consider their favorite comfort foods. I think Eryn would enjoy a bowel of she-crab soup without the sherry. And for Blue I’m thinking a chili dog. He is an all-American boy kinda guy and I think chili dog with cheese would suit his personality.
