Dear Reader,
I mentioned on November 8th that I had started listening to this book. I finished it today and it did not disappoint. If you are familiar with Steve Berry and his books featuring Cotton Malone, I can assure you, you too will not be disappointed. Cotton Malone is dragged away from his bookstore to help save the country and he does so in spectacular fashion. There are enough twists and turns in this story to keep you on the edge of your sea.
As I mentioned in my previous post I was intrigued by the author’s commentary in between some of the chapters. I found these insights very useful and entertaining. Clearly, Mr. Berry does extensive research before writing his books and the ‘behind the scenes’ information on when and how he conducted that research added to my enjoyment and experience with the characters and the book.
If you like thrillers and haven’t read the Cotten Malone series, I encourage you to read it in your favorite format. I hope you love it as much as I do.
