This morning as I write this dear reader, it is raining hard enough to put Noah on alert. Thankfully it is staying above freezing or this would be a lot worse.
But, we must look for the silver lining in the gray storm clouds. When it is not fit for man nor beast out there, then it is best to stay indoors and work on my writing projects.
With all this rain we’ve had this winter and this weekend I began to search rain on the internet for history, fun geeky facts etc. Here is what I found amongst the references to weather and people named Rain, the Top 10 Depictions of British Rain. From my own writing, there is a description of rain in the opening pages of Gray’s Requiem.
I hope that wherever you are today you are warm and dry and if you’re lucky you are also curled up with a good book and a warm beverage.
