It’s 9:33pm and I have less than 1,000 words so far today. It has been a struggle so far. My day job had a potluck breakfast this morning so I spent my “before work” time baking an omelet casserole to take. But, that was okay because I would have an entire hour at lunch to write and I can usually hit 2,000 works in 45 minutes. But, not today. Today, I was struggling with my inner critic who kept telling me what I was writing of boring and dull and never mind that I would edit it later that, editing would be the equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig. So, I allowed myself to drift away from the laptop.
Today is just a day with very low writing mojo. I only got 910 words in. I think I’m going to have to accept that for today. Tomorrow I will try to catch up. Hopefully, I will be able to make up some words.
Tomorrow I will have to crank up the playlist and get it together. Lately, I have been listening to a lot of Black Light Ascension. I hope they can come through for me tomorrow.
